Every client's GST documents, in before your cut-off.

Kagzaat opens a checklist for each client when the month closes: sales and purchase registers, bank statements, credit and debit notes. Reminders go in the client's language from your firm's WhatsApp and by email, and every file is checked as it lands, well before GSTR-1 on the 11th and GSTR-3B on the 20th. QRMP clients too.

What the GST month needs, already set up

A new firm starts with the GST checklist, the reminder days and the statutory calendar below. Change any of it in settings.

A checklist per client, every month
When the month closes, each GST client gets their own checklist: sales register, purchase register, bank statements for every account, credit and debit notes, and the e-way bill summary if there is one. Skip or add a document for one client. A client with no credit notes this month taps None this period.
Reminders in their language, from your number
Each WhatsApp reminder is prepared in English, Hindi or Marathi with the upload link, and someone on your team taps Send on WhatsApp from Today, so clients see your firm's number and reply to you. Email goes by itself. One message a day at most, nothing on Sunday or at night, and each reminder lists only what is still missing.
Checked before anyone opens it
A bank statement whose name says another month is kept and flagged for a person to decide, never filed as this month's. The same file sent twice is not stored twice, and a renamed file whose contents do not match its type is refused. PDFs, photos and Excel or CSV, up to 25 MB a file.
The month on one track, and Today
The deadline track runs from the day checklists open through your cut-off to GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B, with every client counted by where they stand. Today lists only what needs a person: reviews to approve, files flagged by the checks, clients to call. When the government extends a due date, open checklists move with it.
The Today page of a demo CA firm: the October GST deadline track with the client cut-off, GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B dates, client counts by status, and a list of what needs the partner today, starting with a review to approve.

Questions about the GST month

More in Help.

Does it work for QRMP clients?

Yes. A QRMP client gets one checklist after each quarter, for GSTR-1 (due the 13th) and GSTR-3B (due the 22nd for a business based in Maharashtra), and one in each of the first two months of the quarter for the PMT-06 payment (due the 25th), with an optional item for invoices to report through IFF by the 13th.

What happens when a GST due date is extended?

The extension is applied to open checklists: the statutory date moves, and your cut-off moves with it when it needs to. If only GSTR-3B is extended while GSTR-1 is still due first, the cut-off stays where it was, because the documents are still needed for GSTR-1.

What does my client have to do?

Open the link in your message and tap Upload beside each document, from the phone's browser. No app and no password. A client with no credit notes this month says so in one tap. Each file gets a receipt, and the link works for 14 days.

How is the cut-off worked out?

Your cut-off is your firm's date for client documents, counted back 5 working days from GSTR-1, skipping Sundays, Maharashtra public holidays and your own office holidays. The statutory date and your cut-off are kept apart and never merged, so everyone can see both.

When do the reminders go?

On the days you set. A new firm starts with the request when the month closes, a reminder the day before your cut-off, two overdue reminders after it, and the client moved to your list to call a few days later. At most one message a day per client, nothing on Sunday and nothing at night.

Does Kagzaat file GSTR-1 or connect to the GST portal?

No. Kagzaat gets the documents in, checked and reviewed. Your team prepares and files returns the way it does today. A partner can download a period's files as a zip, in folders by client and document.
